Michael Baker

Michael Baker, CPA has over 13 years of work experience in various roles related to internal audit, data analytics, and risk assurance. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Staff Auditor II at Dish Network LLC, where they conducted internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, the accuracy of financial records, and the efficiency of operations. Michael also identified process improvement opportunities and implemented cost-saving measures. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Risk Assurance department. Starting in 2018, they joined Western Union as the Sr Manager of Internal Audit - Data Analytics, where they utilized their skills in data analytics to support internal audit efforts. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Internal Audit at CoBank, where they oversee internal audit functions and provides strategic guidance.

Michael Baker, CPA received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a focus on Accounting, from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 2008.
