Krista A. Lewis

Krista A. Lewis is an experienced educator with a robust background in art education and leadership. Currently serving as an Elementary Art Specialist and Teacher at Cobb County Schools since July 2015, Krista has also fulfilled the role of Scorer for Pearson since March 2014, evaluating teacher candidates' portfolios for the edTPA. Previously, Krista was the President of the ABC/25 Foundation from June 2014 to June 2015, managing relationships with educational stakeholders and overseeing fundraising efforts. As an Assistant Principal with Rowan-Salisbury Schools from August 2007 to July 2013, Krista contributed to program development aimed at maximizing student achievement, while also serving as an Art Specialist and Mentor for K-5 students. With experience as an Adjunct Professor at Catawba College, Krista has maintained a commitment to advancing the field of visual arts and education. Krista holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor's degree in Art Education from the same institution.
