Robert (Bobby) Thompson has over 24 years of experience in education, currently serving as the Social Studies Department Chair at Cobb County Schools, Harrison High School, where responsibilities include leading a team of 15 teachers, managing the department's budget, and representing the department to various stakeholders. As a dedicated educator, Robert has taught a range of social studies classes, including AP Microeconomics and Honors World History, while being recognized as a six-time nominee for Teacher of the Year. In addition to teaching, Robert has significantly contributed to extracurricular activities, serving as the Mock Trial Sponsor/Coach, where students have achieved notable success in competitions, and as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach, earning accolades such as the Cobb County Touchdown Club Offensive Coach of the Year. Robert holds a B.S. in Social Science Education from Kennesaw State University.
