Amie Garrett

Amie Garrett is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the Cobb County Sheriff's Office, serving as Captain since May 2021 and previously as Lieutenant since September 2000, with assignments across all three divisions and a background in supervising inmates within the Detention Facility. Prior experience includes working as a Probation Officer for the Georgia Department of Corrections from June 1998 to September 2000, where responsibilities included managing diverse caseloads of individuals with various misdemeanor and felony convictions. Amie's career began at The Home Depot as Head Cashier from February 1995 to June 1998, overseeing cashier operations and sales activities. Amie holds a Bachelor of Science in Public and Social Services from Kennesaw State University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University.
