Kevin Schutt

Kevin Schutt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kevin is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Cobec Consulting, Inc., a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, Kevin served as the Chief Operations Officer and Director of Finance at the same company. In their role as Manager, they led a team supporting FAA Program Control activities, providing cost estimating, acquisition support, budget formulation, earned value management, financial execution, data management, and scheduling. Kevin also advised senior management on financial and budget issues, developed program cost models, and facilitated scenario analysis. Before joining Cobec Consulting, Kevin worked as a Senior Consultant at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), where they provided cost-benefit analysis and management support for proposed investments in the National Airspace System. Kevin advised senior management on financial and budget issues and developed program cost models. Kevin's previous experience also includes working as a Treasury Consultant at AARP, where they provided analytical support, project management, and cash management services. Additionally, they have teaching assistant experience in personal financial advising and worked as an Analyst at Actuarial Research Corp. Furthermore, Kevin has a background as a musician, as a founding member of the popular D.C.-area cover band Gonzo's Nose. Before that, they worked as a drafter at Federal Mogul.

Kevin Schutt has a strong education background, with degrees and certifications in various fields. In 1992, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from William & Mary. Following this, Kevin pursued further education and completed an MBA/MSF program at The George Washington University School of Business between 2006 and 2008, specializing in Finance. In 2010, they attended the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) to obtain a certification as a Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCE/A). This certification demonstrates their expertise in cost estimating and analysis.
