Marc Duval-Destin

Marc Duval-Destin serves as the VP of Engineering at Thales Aerospace Communications, a role held since September 2024. Prior to this position, Marc held several key leadership roles at Thales, including VP of Strategy, Product Policy & Innovation for the Flight Avionics Business Line and VP of Advanced Programs & Innovation. With a substantial background in engineering and advanced programs, Marc's experience also includes serving as VP of Engineering and Director of the Navigation Competence Center at Thales Avionics. Earlier career highlights feature a VP role at PSA Peugeot Citroën, where Marc managed advanced engineering for future vehicles and led the European Council for Automotive Research (EUCAR) in 2010. Marc's initial roles involved managing key military projects, including overseeing the Leclerc Battle Tank for the French Department of Defense. Academically, Marc holds an engineer diploma from École Polytechnique, a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Aix-Marseille University, and a master's degree in Automatics and Signal Processing from Paris-Sud University, alongside multiple other engineering qualifications.
