Steve Morris

Steve Morris is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in high-level financial management and reporting. Currently serving as Group Financial Controller at Ultra Electronics Group, Steve has held various senior roles at Cobham since October 2007, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Reporting Director, where responsibilities spanned global financial reporting, performance maximization, and financial compliance within private equity contexts. In addition to corporate roles, Steve contributes to the financial sector as a member of the Preparer Advisory Group for the UK Endorsement Board and as Vice Chair of the Global Preparers Forum with the IASB. Previous experience includes positions at KPMG UK and Saffery Champness, along with academic involvement as a lecturer at Aberystwyth University. Steve holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Aberystwyth University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA).
