Steve Garland

As a microbiologist with over 35 years of biologics development and manufacturing experience Steve joined Cobra as Keele Site Manager in 2014.

He has held several senior positions in manufacturing, commercial and facility management at Celltech, Johnson and Johnson in the Netherlands (formerly Centocor), Sanofi Aventis and more recently Novozymes. Steve has led technology transfer projects into and from the UK to the USA, Japan and China including involvement in the design and build of manufacturing facilities in Asia.

Steve has significant experience in managing facilities through successful Regulatory Authority audits; pre-approval audits, GMP certificate audits and routine inspections.
