Ayesha Mohammed is a seasoned professional in international advocacy and fundraising with extensive experience in project design and management. Currently serving as Medior International Advocacy Officer at COC Nederland since August 2022, Ayesha previously held key positions at JCLA The Justice Center for Legal Aid, including Executive Assistant Director, Senior Fundraising Officer, and Fundraising Officer, where responsibilities encompassed leading fundraising initiatives, managing external relations, and writing multi-million dollar proposals for various donors. Ayesha also contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam, facilitating mentorship workshops for Master's students. Ayesha holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the same institution.

COC Nederland komt op voor de belangen, gelijke rechten, emancipatie en sociale acceptatie van LHBTI+ personen in Nederland en het buitenland. Het COC werd opgericht in 1946 en is daarmee de oudste nog bestaande lhbti+ belangenorganisatie ter wereld.
