Vasilis Drakopoulos

Vasilis Drakopoulos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and insurance within multinational environments. Currently serving as the Group Insurance Manager at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company since October 2013, Vasilis oversees operations across 29 countries and has held various key positions, including Chief Risk Officer and Non-Executive Director at CCHBC Reinsurance DAC, where responsibilities included the development of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policy. Vasilis also acts as a Non-Executive Director for CCHBC Insurance Guernsey Ltd, contributing to the captive risk transfer strategy. Prior to these roles, Vasilis held significant positions at Hellenic Halyvourgia S.A., specializing in operational risk, logistics management, and internal auditing, and began a career as a Senior Accountant at Halyvourgia Thessalias S.A. Vasilis holds a Master's degree in Finance from the University of Essex and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire, complemented by completion of the Coca-Cola HBC Leadership program.
