Betsy Didan has a vast work experience in the banking industry. Betsy served as the First Vice President of Payment Services & Cash Management at COCC, where they successfully led the conversion to branch image capture, resulting in a doubling of the item processing business. Betsy also played a key role in launching a full suite of cash management products for community banks and credit unions. Prior to COCC, Betsy was the Vice President at Webster Bank, overseeing the Commercial Operations Division, which included various operations such as wire transfer, cash management, account reconcilement, and more. Before that, they held senior officer positions at Fleet Bank, where they oversaw the Wholesale Lockbox and Item Processing Divisions across multiple sites with a large number of employees. Betsy also held a Vice President role at Fleet Boston Financial. Betsy began their career as an Operations Officer at the Colorado National Bank of Denver and later served as the Retail Operations Officer at Valley Bank, California, where they were responsible for managing retail operations across all branches, including teller services and proof encoding.

Betsy Didan pursued their education in various fields related to business and technology. In 1974, they attended Bryant University and studied Business Management. However, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this institution. In 1998, Betsy acquired a Certificate in Bank Operations & Technology from BAI Bank Operations & Technology. That same year, they also completed a Managing Operations Course at Advanced Management Systems, earning a Certificate. Continuing their educational pursuits, Betsy obtained a Mastery Certificate in the Webster Business Program from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2003.
