Luke Alexander is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations and strategic communications within the healthcare and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Awareness Communications at Cochlear since February 2018, Luke develops and executes a global communications strategy to promote awareness of hearing implants. Prior roles include Head of Communications at Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, where Luke established a comms function to enhance the Foundation's reputation and engagement, and Account Director at Weber Shandwick, managing healthcare communications. With a foundation in public relations at organizations such as the Cancer Council NSW and Greater Manchester Police, Luke combines expertise in media relations, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement, supported by an Advanced Certificate in Public Relations and a BSc (Hons) in Sociology.
