Peter Van Gerwen is an experienced executive currently serving as Vice President of Western Europe and Market Access EMEA at Cochlear, overseeing the Acoustic Implants product line and leading various operational aspects including R&D, manufacturing, and sales. Peter also holds the position of President of Cochlear Boulder LLC and has been General Manager of Cochlear Benelux NV, where responsibilities included sales, marketing, and customer service. Additionally, Peter has served as Director and Chairman of the board at SoundTalks, as well as being a member of the board at FlandersBio. Previous roles include Vice President of Technology at Vivactis and Program Manager R&D at Sensor N.I.T.E. Peter Van Gerwen holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School, a Ph.D. in Microsystem Technology from KU Leuven, and a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
