Quang Thai

Quang Thai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital signal processing (DSP) and firmware development, currently serving as a DSP and Firmware Product Owner at Cochlear since January 2014. In this role, Quang is responsible for overseeing DSP sound path and wireless streaming functionality, while managing the product backlog to meet both Cochlear's requirements and those of cross-disciplinary stakeholders. Prior to this, Quang held positions as Senior DSP Engineer and DSP Lead at Cochlear, and has previously worked at Dolby Laboratories and other organizations, focusing on developing audio DSP algorithms, automated test systems, and embedded software components. Quang holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney.
