Stijn Eeckhoudt is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in implant technology development, currently serving as the Director of Implant Technology Development at Cochlear. Since October 2016, Stijn has led the Advanced Innovation Implant Technology Team, focusing on creating and maturing implantable technologies and strengthening Cochlear’s IP portfolio. Stijn's previous roles include Senior Manager and Project Manager in implant technology at Cochlear, followed by significant project and technical management positions at Altran and Tenneco, where Stijn oversaw product innovation and development. Stijn's career began at Icos Vision Systems, where Stijn managed technical support and product improvements for international customers. Stijn holds a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven, with specializations in product development and mechatronics.
