Lakshmi Kannan is a seasoned product management professional currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Cockroach Labs since February 2018. In this role, Lakshmi focuses on aligning CockroachDB Cloud and its offerings with the demands of large enterprises, managing core aspects such as product roadmap, infrastructure, security, APIs, and market positioning. Prior to this, Lakshmi held various product management positions, including Group Product Manager and Senior Product Manager at Cockroach Labs, and served as a Product Manager at IBM from July 2016 to February 2018. Lakshmi's early career includes a tenure as a Senior Analyst at Analysis Group, specializing in antitrust and intellectual property litigation within the technology sector. Lakshmi holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Economics from Connecticut College, along with an International Baccalaureate from Mahindra United World College of India.
