Michael Erickson is an experienced software engineer with a background in database technologies. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Cockroach Labs since March 2021, Michael has previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at MariaDB Corporation from October 2019 to March 2021. Prior to that, Michael worked at Clustrix, Inc., which was acquired by MariaDB Corporation, where roles included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer from August 2011 to October 2019. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington, earned between 2006 and 2011.
