Christopher DeSanto

Christopher DeSanto is the current controller at Coco. Christopher has previous experience as the controller at Think Together from April 2017 to October 2020. At Think Together, they were responsible for leading and managing the corporate month-end close workflows, overseeing banking and financial audits, and collaborating with operating departments to build budgets and review monthly variances. Christopher also restructured the accounting team and completed a $10 million acquisition.

DeSanto is known for their no-nonsense approach and for questioning the status quo. Christopher was able to improve or change many accounting procedures to reflect a control environment fitting of a publicly traded company. As an extremely paper-based organization, they implemented 100% paperless accounting procedures and eliminated the future need for file storage. Christopher also improved collections by over 50%, reducing borrowing costs by $120k a year.

In addition to their work in accounting, DeSanto also mentors bright and energetic individuals as they mature and develop both personally and professionally.

Christopher DeSanto graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Christopher is also certified by the National Alliance in Certified Insurance Counselor, the Insurance Institute of America in Accredited Advisor in Insurance, the Institute of Internal Auditors in Certified Internal Auditor, and the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board in Certified Pharmacy Technician.
