Spencer Hyman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Spencer is the Founder of Cocoa Runners and Partner and Co-Founder of Navigator Commerce. Spencer has also worked as an Independent Advisor/Board Member for companies like Linked In, YoyoGames, and EPOS. In addition to this, they were the Founder and CEO of Artfinder, COO of Last.fm, and Managing Director of Copan. Earlier in their career, they served as a general manager at Amazon.com, a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton, and a director at Hasbro. Spencer Hyman's career started as a Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton in 1986.

Spencer Hyman completed an Executive Training Programme in Japan, specializing in Japanese language and culture, from 1991 to 1992. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree (MA) in History from Magadalen College, Oxford, where they studied between 1983 and 1986.
