Nate Saal

Nate Saal began their work experience in 1994 as an Associate at Smart Valley, Inc., where they played a key role in introducing the Internet and communication technologies to schools in Santa Clara and San Mateo County. In 1996, they founded Manageable Software Services, Inc. and served as the CEO, developing the first Web-based software updating service called CatchUp, which was later acquired by CNET Networks. Nate then joined CNET Networks as the Director of CatchUp until 2002. In 2003, Saal founded GlooLabs, Inc., where they served as the Founder and VP of Product Development. Nate led the development and licensing of the GlooNet software platform, which allowed users to remotely access and share multimedia content stored on their home network. GlooLabs was acquired by Linksys-Cisco in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Saal worked as a Director at Cisco Systems, Inc. Nate then joined Tactus Technology in 2010 as the VP of Business Development until 2013. In 2013, Saal founded CocoTerra, where they currently serve as the Founder and CEO. CocoTerra combines chocolate and technology to revolutionize chocolate creation for all.

Nate Saal attended Palo Alto High School from 1986 to 1990. After completing high school, they went on to study at Yale University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry.
