Ante Wendel has extensive experience in the automotive industry. Ante started their career at Volvo Car Corporation as a Reliability Engineer from 1985 to 1991. Ante then joined Volvo Cars of North America, where they held various positions including Product Quality Manager/Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Operations Control Manager. During this time, they led cross-functional teams, implemented Six Sigma projects, and developed methods for issue identification and solution implementation. Wendel later moved to Hyundai Motor America, where they served as Manager for IQS/VDS/Quality Strategy from 2008 to 2011. Here, they developed quality strategies and oversaw quality performance measurement. Lastly, they worked at CODA Automotive, Inc. as a Field Quality Engineer, leading quality issue analysis and implementing processes for quality improvement.
Ante Wendel obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Ante pursued further education by obtaining an MBA from Webster University, where they attended from 2005 to 2007.
