Kevin Kranen

Kevin Kranen has extensive experience in the electronic design industry, serving as Director of Strategic Alliances at Synopsys, Inc. from May 1989 to June 2015, where numerous industry initiatives and partnerships were driven. As President of the Open SystemC Initiative from January 1999 to January 2003, Kevin launched a non-profit standards organization that grew to 50 corporate members and established a widely adopted SystemC standard for chip design. Kevin's career also includes a role as Corporate Applications Engineering Manager at Daisy Systems from January 1984 to January 1989, and more recently, Kevin has been with conDati since January 2021 in a full-time capacity, following a gap years period from June 2015 to January 2021 with Enjoying Life. Academically, Kevin holds a BS/MEng in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and has completed Continuing Studies in Data Science at Stanford University.
