Michael Marquez

Michael Marquez is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. Currently serving as Founding Partner at Code Advisors and Founding General Partner at Morado Venture Partners, Marquez specializes in raising funds and investing in Internet technology firms. Previous roles include EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development at CBS Interactive and Director of Corporate Development at Yahoo!, where responsibilities encompassed acquisitions and divestitures. With a solid background that includes senior positions at Gap Inc. and Robertson Stephens, Marquez also holds an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
