Shanna Fischzang

Shanna Fischzang is a skilled product manager currently employed at Code and Theory since August 2022, progressing through roles as Junior Product Manager and Junior Product Strategist. Prior to this, Shanna served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, where the focus was on developing a lymph-node-on-a-chip micro-fluidic device for drug screening. Experience also includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Tulane University, where work involved developing a lung-on-a-chip to model respiratory exposure injury, and an engineering internship at Team Gleason. Additionally, Shanna gained research experience as an Ophthalmic Research Intern at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Shanna holds a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.
