Juan Fernando Lopez Diaz

Juan Fernando Lopez Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Juan Fernando started their career at Hanesbrands Inc. in 2017, where they worked as a Casing Engineer in product development. In this role, they focused on packaging specifications, communication with sewing plants, and cost reduction projects. Juan Fernando then transitioned to the role of Label Engineer before leaving the company in 2019.

Following their time at Hanesbrands Inc., Juan joined Banpaís in 2019. Juan Fernando initially worked as a PMO Coordinator, where they were responsible for controlling and providing visibility for programs and projects. Juan Fernando also played a key role in implementing a project management methodology across the organization. Subsequently, they worked as a Scrum Master in the Digital Incubator, where they applied agile methodologies to plan, manage, and deliver solutions. Juan Fernando also trained and supported Scrum teams and facilitated Scrum events and meetings. Juan's tenure at Banpaís ended in November 2022.

Currently, Juan works as a Project Manager - Product and Delivery at CODE Éxitos, starting in May 2023.

Juan Fernando Lopez Diaz completed their postgraduate degree in Project Management from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Juan Fernando Lopez Diaz has obtained several certifications. These include the EF SET English Certificate C1/C2 Proficient from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in March 2023, the Enterprise Design Thinking Co-Creator certification from IBM in January 2023, and the Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification from IBM in November 2022. Juan Fernando also holds certifications in the 7 habits of highly effective people from FranklinCovey in November 2021, Digital Transformation Management from the Panamerican Business School in December 2020, Lean IT Association Foundation from APMG International in March 2020, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from Scrum Alliance in November 2020, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in October 2020, and Agile Coach Professional Certificate from KZI-Kaizenia in May 2022.
