Francesca Childs

Francesca Childs is the Head of Programmes at Code First Girls, where they lead initiatives to close the gender gap in technology. Francesca graduated with a Msci in Biology with first-class honors from the University of Birmingham and later earned a PGCE from the Institute of Education, University College London. They taught science in a London secondary school for two years before transitioning to the EdTech sector, where they initially worked as a content writer at Nagwa Limited and advanced to project manager. Currently, Francesca manages the development and delivery of innovative products aimed at empowering women in tech.
