Kate O'Connell is a design leader with over 15 years of experience in building digital products and campaigns, particularly within the civic tech nonprofit sector. They held the position of Partner at Persist from 2019 to 2022 and served as Head of Product Design at the Obama Foundation from 2023 to 2024. Currently, O'Connell directs design at Code for America and contributes as a board member for the Recording Fund. They earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 2006.
