Jeanne Tiegs

Jeanne Tiegs is a Center Director and STEM Educator at Code Ninjas Palos Verdes, where they facilitate hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. They previously worked as a Teacher and Animal Caretaker at STAR Eco Station, educating over 500 K-12 students on environmental and wildlife biology. Jeanne's early career included roles as a Research Intern at the University of California San Diego and a Student Researcher at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. They hold a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from California State University, Fullerton, and a Certification in GIS and Geospatial Technology from UCLA Extension.
