Janna Serafim

Janna Serafim (Shapiro), P.E. has a background in Chemistry and Fire Protection Engineering. Janna has experience working as a Laboratory Technician in the pharmaceutical industry, conducting research at the University of Virginia, and as a Fire Protection Engineer at various companies. Currently, Janna holds the position of Sr. Technical Advisor and Project Manager at Code Red Consultants. Prior to that, Janna worked at NFPA as a Fire Protection Engineer, managing Technical Committees involved in revising Codes and Standards related to fire protection systems. During an internship at Hughes Associates, Inc., Janna worked on a project for the National Park Service involving fire alarm and suppression systems inventory and assessment.
