Laura Boerboom is a seasoned cultural strategist and semiotician, currently serving as Co-Founder of Code Switch since September 2019, where the focus is on merging cultural insights with business strategies. Boerboom has extensive experience in strategic research, having held roles at The Future Laboratory and as Head of Semiotics and Futures at Crowd DNA, alongside consulting as a freelance semiotician and innovation consultant. Previous positions include semiotician and cultural analyst at Space Doctors, research strategist at BAMM, and cultural strategist at Flamingo. Boerboom holds a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford with distinction and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Psychology from University College Utrecht, graduating magna cum laude.
