Kai Herings is a seasoned professional in the tech industry, currently serving as the Lead Consultant and Founder at forwardnow GmbH since 2022. In addition, Kai has been with codecentric AG since 2017, contributing to Remote Tech Team & Innovation Acceleration and leading Cloud Transformation & FinOps initiatives. As a member of the FinOps Foundation since 2020, Kai actively participates in advancing financial operations within technology. Previously, Kai worked in digital transformation at EY from 2011 to 2017. Educational qualifications include a degree in Dipl. Informatiker with a focus on Distributed Systems & Communication Systems from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by studies at Politecnico di Milano and RWTH Aachen University.
