Dasun Athukorala

Dasun Athukorala has extensive work experience in the tech industry. Dasun began their career at CodeGen as a Trainee Software Engineer (Internship) in 2000 and later worked as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Architect. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Architect at the company. In 2013, Dasun Athukorala was promoted to Vice President-Strategy, where they were responsible for portfolio management, strategic planning, and product sponsorship. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at CodeGen International, where they oversee various roles such as providing strategic direction, solution design, and scrum methodology implementation. Throughout their career, Dasun Athukorala has demonstrated their expertise in technology leadership, project delivery, and product strategy.

Dasun Athukorala completed an MBA in Business Management from the Post Graduate Institute of Management between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc in Engineering with a focus on Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa from 1998 to 2002. In 1996 and 1997, they also completed a Diploma in Computer Systems Design (DCSD) from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). Dasun has also obtained a certification in CSM from the Scrum Alliance.
