Joel Aguero

Joel Aguero is an experienced professional currently serving as Chief of Staff at Codegen since 2024. As the Owner of Castro Baths since 2022, Joel is launching a new bathhouse in San Francisco. Joel also operates Studio Flurry since 2017, focusing on zero-to-one product design and development for various startups, including Brex and Persona. Previously, Joel held the position of Director of Product & Design at The San Francisco Standard from 2020 to 2023, leading a team in managing product and engineering workflows. A background in outreach was gained as a Field Organizer for Warren for President in 2019-2020. Joel's technical experience includes a Software Engineer role at Palantir Technologies and a Product Designer role at Coursera, among other internships. Joel earned a Bachelor of Science in Product Design and Engineering from Stanford University.
