Andres Aliaga Galdames

Andres Aliaga Galdames is an experienced engineer specializing in operational excellence and process engineering within the mining and chemical industries. Currently serving as an Operational Excellence Engineer at CODELCO since October 2022, Andres focuses on developing and implementing an operational data platform using Power BI to enhance performance analysis. Previously, as Head of Operational Excellence at Enaex, leadership skills were demonstrated in digital transformation initiatives and the implementation of Industry 4.0 tools, yielding significant productivity and efficiency gains. Andres has also contributed to various engineering roles at Enaex and Bejos SpA, including managing processes in nitric acid and emulsions' plants, overseeing the EnviNOx system for carbon reduction, and engaging in research for new product development. Academic qualifications include a Master of Chemical Engineering Sciences and a Chemical Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria.
