Mauricio Valenzuela Roediger

Mauricio Valenzuela Roediger is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Jefe de ingeniería at CODELCO – Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile since August 2021. Prior to this role, Mauricio worked as Líder Disciplina CSA at Sigdo Koppers SKIC and served as a Structural Engineer at Fluor Corporation from November 2017 to November 2020. Additionally, Mauricio has a significant academic background, holding the position of Profesor Asociado Extraordinario and Profesor de Cátedra at Universidad de los Andes from March 2010 to July 2020, teaching various engineering courses. Previous experience includes project engineering at Wood and seismic review at Amec Foster Wheeler. Mauricio holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and a Civil Engineering degree, both from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
