Pedro Andres Fernandez Saavedra

Pedro Andres Fernandez Saavedra is an experienced planning engineer with a strong background in maintenance management within the copper mining industry. Currently serving as the Long-Term Planning Engineer at CODELCO since 2013, Pedro has overseen major maintenance operations for the Concentrator Plant and Tostación Complex, as well as facilities related to acids and grapple cranes. Prior experience includes roles at Xstrata Copper and Noranda Mining, where Pedro led planning and logistics for plant shutdowns and maintenance activities. Pedro holds multiple diplomas and degrees in industrial engineering and maintenance management from recognized Chilean universities.
