Sergio Groman

Sergio Groman has an extensive work experience in the field of ophthalmology. Sergio currently holds the position of Chief Retina Department at the CODET Vision Institute since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Ophthalmology Staff Member at Centro Médico ABC starting from September 2015. Sergio also served as an Ophthalmology Staff Member at Hospital Ángeles Lomas from March 2014. Furthermore, they held the role of Chief Retina Service and Fellowship at Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea González from February 2016 to April 2019.

Sergio Groman started their education in 2003 at the Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, but the field of study is not specified. Sergio then pursued further studies in Ophthalmology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 2009 to 2012, specifically at the Instituto de Oftalmologia Fundación Conde de Valenciana. In 2012, they also obtained a Master in Science degree from the same university, although the field of study is not mentioned. Additionally, they completed a Retina Fellowship at the Instituto de Oftalmologia Fundación Conde de Valenciana from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they participated in an International Research Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the University of Colorado.
