Barbara Paldus is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology and beauty industries. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Sekhmet Ventures and CEO of Codex Beauty since March 2018, Barbara emphasizes clean beauty and wellness supported by scientific principles. Previously, Barbara held the position of VP/GM at Thermo Fisher Scientific and CEO at Finesse Solutions, where remarkable growth was achieved from 2007 to 2012. As an Operating Partner at Skymoon Ventures and CTO/Founder of Picarro, Inc., Barbara contributed significantly to technological advancements, including the development of cavity ring-down spectroscopy. Barbara holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Math and Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
