Alex Barnes

Alex Barnes has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. In 2011, they started their career as an Equity Research Analyst at Dowling & Partners and worked there until 2014. Subsequently, they joined SIMPLENIGHT as a Business Development Manager from November 2014 to November 2015. Following this, they served as the Director of Business Operations at Tansler, Inc. from December 2015 to December 2016, where they led the scaling of the company and won recognition as 'The Most Innovative Travel Tech Company' at Phocuswright. In 2017, they joined Knotel, initially as a Manager of Strategy & Business Development, later moving on to roles such as Senior Manager of Real Estate & Business Development and Head of Real Estate & Business Development for the NY market. During their time at Knotel, they helped scale the company and played a crucial role in its acquisition by Newmark. In 2020, they worked as a Consultant at Savitt Partners LLC and later as a Consultant at an unnamed consulting firm before joining Fridge No More as Head of Expansion in 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Real Estate at Codi, starting in June 2022.
