Reza Saberi Moghaddam

Reza Saberi Moghaddam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2008, they started as a Master Student at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where they focused on electrical characterizations of polymer ferroelectric diodes. After completing their master's degree in 2010, they joined the University of Cambridge as a PhD Marie-Curie researcher in Physics, specializing in hybrid nanostructures with applications in optoelectronics and energy generation. They completed their PhD in 2014.

Following their PhD, Reza worked as a Research Associate and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge and the University of Glasgow, respectively. During these roles, they continued their research in nanomaterials and gained experience in material selection and control of hybrid nanostructure growth.

In 2018, Reza became an Entrepreneur and founded AI4MD Limited. As the Founder and Director, they developed and implemented AI-based solutions for material discovery in various industries, focusing on cost, safety, and performance optimization. Reza's entrepreneurial journey continued in 2020 when they became a Co-Founder and Director of CodiKoat, where they contributed to the growth and development of the company.

Reza's passion for entrepreneurship led them to join Entrepreneur First as an EF LD14 Cohort Member in 2020. They also honed their business skills at Cambridge Judge Business School, where they participated in the Accelerate Cambridge program in 2019.

In 2021, Reza briefly worked at London & Partners, where they participated in the Business Growth Programme. Throughout their work experience, they demonstrated expertise in materials science, AI applications, entrepreneurship, and research.

Reza Saberi Moghaddam began their education in 2000 at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Physics. Reza successfully completed their degree in 2004. Following this, from 2004 to 2006, Reza pursued a Master's degree in Applied Physics at Urmia University.

In 2008, Reza furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Groningen, where they completed a Master's degree in Nanoscience in 2010. During this period, they gained expertise in the field of Nanoscience.

Seeking to advance their knowledge and expertise, Reza Saberi Moghaddam joined the University of Cambridge in 2010 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics. Reza dedicated four years to their doctoral studies and successfully completed their PhD in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Reza has also obtained several certifications to expand their skill set. In 2019, they completed the course "The Top 5 Machine Learning Libraries in Python" at Udemy. Reza also completed the certification course "AI For Everyone" offered by Coursera in April 2019. Reza's most recent certification is the Mini MBA they obtained from Udemy in May 2020.
