Ilya Sakharov

Ilya Sakharov is the Vice President of Platform Engineering at Codility. Ilya has also served as the Director of Engineering, Infrastructure Alliance at Getir, the Director of Software Engineering - Service Platform at TomTom, and the Senior Director of Platform Engineering and Quality and Director of Quality Assurance at HelloFresh. Prior to that, they were the Director of Quality Engineering at RSA Security and IQM - Internal Quality Manager (ISO9000:2008) at CA Technologies. Ilya started their career as a Quality Assurance Architect and SDET/Test Architecture at Microsoft and later became a Software QA Manager at Telco Systems.

Ilya Sakharov studied at Champlain College, earning a B.Sc. Ilya also holds a high school diploma from Ort "Yad Giora" Herzliya. Additionally, they have a certification from the International Budo Academy as a Certified Karate-Do Instructor, and is certified by SII as a Certified Internal Auditor (ISO9001). Ilya is also certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Scrum Master, and by Cisco Systems Inc. as a CCNA. Finally, they are certified by Novell Networks as a CNA5.1 and by Microsoft as an MCSE, MCSA, and Exchange MCP.
