Kathy Sun

Kathy Sun is a dynamic professional with a focus on design, product management, and technology within the nonprofit sector. As the Founder and Creative Product Lead of a freelance design business, Kathy supported AAPI nonprofits and successfully raised over $20,000. Currently, Kathy holds positions as a UI Design and Product Associate at Design for America, where an AI chatbot integration improved access to higher education for low-income students, and as a Product Management Associate at Brown Product Management, conducting user research to inform product strategies. Additional roles include Distinguished Tech Fellow at Harvard WECode, Discovery Program Fellow at Coding it Forward, Brand and Marketing Strategist for TEDxBrownU, and Team Lead for the Brown University Math Olympiad. Kathy's academic background includes degrees in Spanish and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, with further studies at Brown University.
