Service Line Director Of Behavioral Health at Cody Regional Health

Steve Humphries-Wadsworth has a diverse work experience in the field of behavioral health. Steve is currently the Service Line Director of Behavioral Health at Cody Regional Health, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, Steve was the Owner of STTBR Rentals starting from 2014. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as the Area Director at Center for Mental Health. Steve also has experience as a Clinical Director at Yellowstone Behavioral Health Center (formerly Park County Mental Health Center) from 2010 to 2013. Before that, they served as the Youth and Family Services Director and then as the Therapeutic Foster Care Coordinator/Youth and Family Therapist at Park County Mental Health Center from 2001 to 2010. Steve also worked as the Family Services Director at Evergreen Meadows, where they were responsible for developing clinical programs and community relations. In the past, they held positions as the Clinical Director at Sheltering Arms/STAR a division of Twin City Missions from 1996 to 1999 and as an Adolescent Day Treatment Therapist at GUIDANCE CENTER OF LEA COUNTY INC from 1994 to 1996. Steve gained additional experience as a Supervising Therapist and a Therapist at the Lubbock County Youth Detention Center through research assistantships with Texas Tech University.

Steve Humphries-Wadsworth completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Philosophy majors and a minor in Sociology from Transylvania University in the years 1985 to 1989. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Western Kentucky University from 1989 to 1991. Finally, Steve earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Texas Tech University between 1991 and 1999.
