Ken Ray, PLA has a diverse and extensive work experience in landscape architecture and urban design. Ken is currently a Senior Associate and Multimodal Senior Manager at Coen+Partners, where they are involved in bringing cycling infrastructure to Riyadh. Prior to this, Ken worked at Toole Design Group as the Mid-Atlantic Deputy Director of Landscape Architecture and as an Urban Designer and Landscape Architect. During their time at Toole Design Group, they focused on active transportation planning projects and was a dedicated advocate for bicycle safety and infrastructure innovation. Before that, Ken worked at AECOM as an Associate Landscape Architect, where they contributed to various successful projects involving landscape architecture, bikeway network planning, and community park planning. Their expertise also extends to construction methods and materials. Ken's earlier experience includes working as a Landscape Architect at Glatting Jackson, where they played a significant role in the development of landscape architecture projects and gained expertise in problem-solving, design, and bicycle facilities design.

Ken Ray, PLA, holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Florida, which they obtained from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Horticulture/Agriculture at Murray State University from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Ken has obtained several certifications as a Registered Landscape Architect from various institutions, including the Ohio Board of Landscape Architects in April 2014, the South Carolina Board of Landscape Architectural Examiners in February 2015, the Minnesota State Board of Landscape Architecture in July 2015, the Maryland Board of Landscape Architects in April 2014, the Commonwealth of Virginia in April 2014, and the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in September 2011.
