Vince Tkac

Chief Architect at CoEnterprise

Vince Tkac has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vince started their career at OCLC in 1994 as a Software Analyst and worked there until 2000. Vince then joined Sterling Commerce as a Lead Software Architect, where they stayed for 16 years, from 2000 to 2016.

In 2010, they joined IBM, initially as a B2B Architect and later becoming a Senior Technical Staff Member. During their time at IBM, Vince gained expertise in SaaS delivery and transformation, particularly in the Supply Chain Business Network offering. Vince was responsible for transitioning the system to a modern and resilient cloud-native micro-service implementation using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CouchBase, and cloud storage. Their tenure at IBM lasted from 2010 to 2022.

Most recently, Vince joined CoEnterprise in 2022 as the Chief Architect, where they currently work.

Vince Tkac obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Youngstown State University from 1990 to 1994. Vince also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same university during the same time period.

In terms of additional certifications, Vince received a Patent Issuance from IBM in January 2019. Vince also obtained the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera in December 2018. Additionally, Vince earned the IBM Agile Achiever, IBM Agile Advocate, and IBM Agile Explorer certifications from IBM in October 2018. In November 2016, they received the Exceptional Advocate title through the IBM Technical Advocate Program. Most recently, Vince achieved the Master Inventor designation from IBM in November 2021.
