Jacob Thaler

Jacob Thaler is a highly experienced mining engineer with a strong background in geology and engineering. Currently serving as a Mining Engineer at Coeur Mining, Inc. since February 2015, Jacob has previously held positions at Goldcorp Inc. from January 2010 to February 2015, where responsibilities included grade control, short-term planning, and blast design, as well as supervising a team of 18 as Crew Foreman. Prior experience includes working as an Exploration Geologist at Newmont Mining Corporation, focused on logging core and field mapping at the Toboggan Project. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from South Dakota Mines and a degree in Applied Geology from the same institution.
