Valérie Maltais

Valérie Maltais is an experienced professional in environmental stewardship and community relations, currently serving as the Director of ESG, Community and Government Relations at Coeur Mining, Inc., since February 2019. Prior to this role, Maltais held various positions including Head of CSR at KGHM International and launched a grassroots campaign for Toronto City Council candidacy. Maltais has a strong background in environmental engineering and compliance, having worked as an Environmental Engineer and Technician with KGHM International. Additionally, Maltais managed the Fair Trade Coffee Club at Laurentian University, promoting sustainable practices on campus, and contributed to significant research on environmental monitoring. Valérie Maltais holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Environmental Earth Science from Laurentian University and has also achieved experience as a licensed funeral director.
