Marie Lavoie has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marie is currently the CEO and Co-founder of CoeurWay since January 2022. Marie also serves as the Chairwoman and a Member of the Director Board at FONDATION ÉQUILIBRE SAGUENAY-LAC-ST-JEAN since June 2021.

In addition, Marie has worked as an Entrepreneur in Incubation at Promotion Saguenay since July 2022, where they support and develops digital start-up businesses. Prior to this, they were a Business Partner, Health Advisor, and Content Creator at FitCam Health from 2020 to the present.

Marie has significant experience in the field of kinesiology. Marie worked as the Chief Kinesiologist and Kinesiologist at Olympe Inc. from November 2019 to February 2022, providing health advice and support to employers and employees. Marie was also a Kinesiologist at Énergie Cardio from January 2019 to January 2020 and SATS from December 2017 to December 2018, where they focused on exercise prescription, coaching, and health promotion.

Furthermore, Marie has experience in event planning and management. Marie worked for ESPN as part of the X-Games' Sport Event Planning and Management team from January 2018 to May 2018, responsible for organizing and coordinating the Ski and Snowboard competitions at the X-Games Norway.

Earlier in their career, Marie worked as a Certified Personal Trainer for Women at Énergie Cardio Hull pour Elle from May 2014 to August 2017.

Overall, Marie Lavoie has acquired a diverse skill set and valuable experience in leadership, entrepreneurship, health promotion, kinesiology, and event planning throughout their work history.

Marie Lavoie started their education in 2012 when they attended Cégep de Jonquière, where they obtained a College Diploma in Natural Sciences. In 2014, they enrolled in the University of Ottawa and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics, which they completed in 2018.

During their time at the University of Ottawa, Marie also had the opportunity to study at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH) in 2017-2018, focusing on Sport Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Marie obtained various qualifications throughout their academic journey. In 2015, they acquired certification in "Intervenir auprès de la personne suicidaire" from the Association québécoise de prévention du suicide (AQPS). In 2018, they became a certified Pilates instructor through SATS. Marie also obtained the title of "Kinésiologue enregistrée" from the Fédération des kinésiologues du Québec in 2021. Furthermore, in 2022, Marie completed the "Leadership au féminin Cohorte 2022" program at the Chambre de commerce et d'industrie Saguenay - Le Fjord.
