Zach Spencer

Zach Spencer, CFA, FRM, CIM has a solid work experience in the financial industry. Zach is currently the VP, Head of Risk Underwriting (Canada) at Coface, where they serve as a key senior leader, analyzing and monitoring the Canadian risk portfolio. Zach has also worked as the Director, Head of Broker Relations (Mid Market) - Canada at Coface, where they oversaw the largest portfolio of insurance broker relationships and developed strategic business plans.

Prior to Coface, Zach worked at eCapital Corp., where they held the position of Director, leading portfolio management and underwriting. Zach also worked as the Senior Manager, Credit and Underwriting, managing a team and evaluating client credit facilities. Additionally, they were the Credit and Underwriting Manager at eCapital Corp., where they monitored portfolio assets and exposure.

Zach's early career started at RBC Dominion Securities, where they worked as a Stock Broking Assistant.

Zach Spencer, CFA, FRM, CIM, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University. Zach also obtained a High School Diploma from Crescent School. In addition to their education, Zach holds several certifications including CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute, Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
