Caroline Brader-Smith serves as a Director on the Board of the International Cotton Association Ltd since January 2024, actively supporting the Women in Cotton initiative. With extensive experience in the legal sector, Caroline has held various prominent roles, including Global General Counsel, Trading & Shipping, and Global Legal Director at COFCO International since October 2016. Prior to this, Caroline served as Senior Legal Counsel at ENGIE from August 2014 to October 2016, and as a Senior Associate at Reed Smith from November 2011 to August 2014, specializing in Energy, Trade, and Commodities. Earlier legal experience includes a Senior Associate position at Barlow Lyde & Gilbert from 2006 to 2011, focused on International Trade and Shipping. Caroline Brader-Smith holds a PgDL/LPC in Law from the College of Law (Guildford) and a BA (Hons) in English & Classics from the University of Exeter.
